【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandarddescribesastandardmethodfordeterminingthePM2,5massconcentrationofsuspendedparticulatematterinambientairbysamplingtheparticulatematteronfiltersandweighingthembymeansofabalance.Measurementsaremadeoverasamplingperiodofabout24h,andinlinewiththeDirective,areexpressedasμg/m3,wherethevolumeofairisthevolumeatambientconditionsneartheinletatthetimeofsampling.Therangeofapplicationofthestandardisfrom1μg/m3(i.e.thelimitofdetectionofthestandardmeasurementmethodexpressedasitsuncertainty)upto120μg/m3(i.e.themaximumconcentrationlevelobservedduringthefieldstudyundertakenbyCEN/TC264/WG15tovalidatethestandard).NOTEAlthoughthestandardisnotvalidatedforconcentrationsover120μg/m3,itsrangeofapplicationcouldwellbeextendedtocommonlyencounteredambientconcentrationsuptocirca200μg/m3whenusingglassorquartzfibrefilters.Atthesehighconcentrationsandparticulatemassloadingsnofiltercloggingistobeexpected.Alsotheflowratecanbeeasilymaintainedatthenominalsetting.TheequivalenceprocedureinAnnexAspecifiestwoapproaches,dependingonwhetherthecandidatemethoddiffersslightlyorfundamentallyfromthestandardmethod.Intheformercase,involvingonlyslightdifferencesfromthestandardmethod(“variationsonatheme”)AnnexAprovidesarestrictedproceduretocompareonlythepertinentdifferences,insteadofafullfieldtest.Thispartoftheannexservestogivepracticalguidancefordeterminingequivalenceformeasurementmethodscommonlyusedinmonitoringnetworks,andincludesexamplesofcommonvariationstothestandardmethod,suchasdifferentfilterstoringorconditioningproceduresandthevariationofthestandardmethodfortheapplicationasautomatedfilterchanger.Inthelattercase,involvingafullsetoffieldtests,theprocedureservestodetermineequivalenceonlywithintherangeofconditionsunderwhichthefieldtestsarecarriedout.TheequivalencecanbeshowntoholdforconditionsprevailingwithinEuropeancountriesbycarryingoutthefieldtestinsituationscoveringasuitablerangeofrelevantambientparameters(suchasconcentrationandcompositionofthesuspendedparticulatematter,temperature,andhumidity).AlthoughthisEuropeanStandarddoesnotexplicitlyaddressautomaticmonitoringmethodsforthemeasurementofthePM2,5massfractioninambientair,theequivalencetestprocedureinAnnexAappliesbothtonon-automaticandautomaticmethods.
